The LiftMaster 8500W is a wall-mount (jackshaft) opener that installs on the wall beside the door instead of on the ceiling, which frees up overhead space and is ideal for garages with high, low, or obstructed ceilings. It runs on a quiet DC motor, includes battery backup so the door still works during outages, and connects to the myQ app for control and alerts from anywhere.
