Seal Beach garage door repair
Old Town, between Pacific Coast Highway and the beach, has small lots and narrow streets, and many garages open onto alleys with only a few feet to work with. Salt air reaches every one of them, so rust on springs and bottom brackets is the most common thing we find.
Inland, College Park East and College Park West are mostly tract homes from the 1960s and 1970s with attached garages, many still on their original doors or early openers.

Why Seal Beach homeowners choose us
Seal Beach is a short drive south of our Lakewood shop by way of the 605 and the 405. Call (562) 541-0018 and we'll set a time that works around beach parking and alley access.
Straightforward process
Tell us what the door is doing and pick a time. Let us know your city and whether the door is open, closed or stuck, so we send the right tech with the right parts.
We inspect the whole system, explain what failed, and give you a written price with options for your budget. Nothing starts until you approve it.
We do the work with quality parts, test the door and safety sensors, and your repair is covered by our warranty.
Seal Beach garage doors
In salt air, the material of a new door matters more than it does inland. Doors made of aluminum or fiberglass, or steel with a heavy factory finish, resist corrosion longest, and we pair them with galvanized springs, coated hinges and sealed rollers so the hardware keeps up with the door.
On repairs, rusted torsion springs and corroded cable ends are the top calls, followed by rollers that have seized in their tracks. We swap rusted parts for coated ones and clean the tracks so the door rides smoothly again.

Rinsing the door with fresh water every few months washes salt off before it eats into the finish, and it's something any homeowner can do.
Our yearly tune-up adds what a rinse can't: corrosion checks on the springs and cables, fresh lubricant on every moving part, a balance test and a check that the opener reverses on contact.

FAQs
Still unsure? A technician can talk you through it on the phone.
Aluminum, fiberglass, or steel with a heavy factory coating, paired with galvanized springs and coated hardware. Doors near the sand also do better with a vinyl bottom seal, which won't rot.
Yes. We plan where the truck will park, carry the parts in from the alley and keep the work area tight. Tell us when you book if access is limited.
Light surface rust can be cleaned and oiled. Heavy rust or pitting weakens the coil and makes a break more likely, so we'd recommend new coated springs. We'll show you what we see before you decide.
California requires openers installed on homes since 2019 to have a battery backup, so a new opener can still raise and lower the door when the power is out.
